Covid Safeguarding in 3 steps

1.

Covid Test

Our drivers take a PCR tests to establish whether they have Covid-19. PCR tests are 'Public Health England' approved and sent to the driver's home.
The driver administers the swab-test under supervision by a qualified professional over a video session, before sending the sample to a lab.

2.

Covid Look-up

The results of the test are uploaded and stored securely on a platform called
V-Health. The test result is viewable when you use the VCode scanning app to scan the circular code on the left of the driver's profile. The scanning app is available at the Google Play and Apple App stores.

3.

Temperature

One of the earliest symptoms of Covid-19 infection is a raised body temperature. Platabook drivers submit their daily temperature reading, via a video call. See below for how we interpret the temperature readings.
